When a chest unlocks
The clock starts once you are actually in the app. Reading a page like this one does not count. On BerryCam that means the moment you tap a Start button. From there the waits get longer each time:
- 30 minutes for the first chest.
- 1 hour for the second.
- 6 hours for the third.
- 24 hours for the fourth, and every 24 hours after that.
Each wait is counted from the moment you claimed the chest before it, not from midnight or any fixed time. Two things follow from that, and both catch people out:
A ready chest does not expire, and it does not stack. If you are away for three days, the chest is still there when you come back. But you get one chest, not three. The next wait only starts once you claim it.
What is inside one

How claiming works
The chest sits on the Start page, with a countdown showing how long is left. What happens when it reaches zero depends on where you are:
- You are in the app when it unlocks. The bar switches to "Claim". Tap it, and the chest opens.
- You were away and come back to a ready chest. It is claimed for you as you return, and the result pops up so you can see what you got.
- You are in a call, matching, or watching a live room. Nothing pops up over it. The chest waits until you leave that screen.
That last rule is deliberate. A full-screen reward over somebody's face, halfway through a conversation, would be the worst possible moment to show it.
The home-screen bonus
If you add BerryCam to your phone's home screen and open it from that icon, the current wait can be skipped, so you can claim a chest straight away. The app will point this out when it applies to you.
This is limited. The skip only works a set number of times, so it is a head start, not a way to open a chest every time you tap the icon.

About "free coin generators"
There is no coin generator, hack, or promo-code site for BerryCam. Coins only come from inside the BerryCam app itself — never from an outside site, generator, or code. A site asking for your login or a "verification" download in exchange for coins is after your account, not giving you anything.
