BerryCamAbout Us
BerryCam is a 1-on-1 live video chat service. The product is designed around a single moment: pairing two people on camera in under a minute, with no sign-up, no profile to build, and no audience watching the room.
This page is intended to explain what the platform offers and what principles guide the user experience. For legal and data handling details, please refer to the related policy pages.
1. Who We Are
BerryCam exists to make face-to-face conversation between strangers feel safe, fast, and disposable in the best sense. We don't build feeds, follower graphs, or profile leaderboards. We run a queue, and we keep the queue moving.
Every match is a private two-person room. There's no broadcast, no audience, no cam grid in the background. If a conversation clicks, you stay. If it doesn't, one tap brings someone new. That's the whole product.
BerryCam has been running since May 2026 and is built and operated by a small team. Support is a single address — [email protected] — and a person reads what arrives there.
Behind that simplicity, review comes first: everyone who can be matched has passed a real-person review before appearing in the queue, and reported rooms go to a person rather than sitting in an automated backlog. How reports are handled is set out on our Safety page.
2. What We Offer
Everything BerryCam does is in service of one moment — putting two people on camera together. Here is what that actually consists of.
One-tap matching
You tap once and you are placed in a live one-on-one video call with someone who is online at that moment. There is no profile to fill in first and no filter deck to work through. Most matches connect within a few seconds.
Private two-person rooms
Every match is its own room with exactly two people in it. Nothing is broadcast, there is no public lobby cam and no spectator view.
Runs in your browser
BerryCam works on the web over WebRTC — the same real-time video technology browsers use for ordinary video calls. There is no app to install, and your first match does not require an account.
Reviewed before matched
Everyone who can be matched has passed a real-person review before they appear in the queue. That review is the reason the queue stays worth using.
Skip, report, block
Every room has the same three controls in the same place. Skip moves you on immediately; report sends the room to moderators; block means you will not be matched with that person again.
3. How We Operate
BerryCam runs on the open web rather than as an installed app. A match is a direct real-time video session in your browser using WebRTC, the same technology browsers use for ordinary video calls. Your first match does not require an account.
Accounts that can be matched are reviewed by a person before they enter the queue. We do not publish the internal detail of that review, for the straightforward reason that publishing it would help the people it exists to keep out. What we will say plainly is that it is a human step, it happens before anyone is matchable, and it is not a formality.
Moderation works the same way after the fact. Every room carries skip, report and block controls in a fixed position, reports are read by people, and accounts that break the Community Guidelines lose access. If you report something and hear nothing back, write to [email protected] and ask — that is a fair thing to ask for.
4. What We Value
One conversation at a time
We do not build feeds, follower counts or profile leaderboards, and we are not adding them. The product is a queue that keeps moving, and every screen here is in service of the next hello.
No audience, ever
A match is a private room between two people. It is not streamed anywhere, there is no public lobby cam, and nobody is watching from the side.
Reviewed by people, not only by filters
Accounts that can be matched are reviewed by a person first, and reported rooms go to a person too. Automated filters help, but they are not the last word.
One inbox, answered by a person
Support is a single address rather than a maze of forms, and a human reads what arrives there. If we get something wrong, that is where to tell us.
5. Who This Platform Is For
BerryCam is for people who want a real conversation with a real person and prefer to skip the swipe deck. We're not a dating app, not a content network, and not a creator economy.
- People who want to talk face-to-face with someone new, right now.
- People who'd rather have one good hello than fifty open chats.
- People who don't want to build a profile to use the product.
- People comfortable with cameras on, voice on, real time.
- People who appreciate a moderated room that still feels light.
6. Rules & Responsibility
To help maintain a safe and orderly platform environment, all users are expected to follow applicable laws, the Terms of Service, the Community Guidelines, and other relevant platform policies.
Content abuse, harassment, fraud, impersonation, unsafe conduct, infringement, payment abuse, and other forms of misuse may result in restrictions, moderation actions, or stronger enforcement measures depending on the nature of the issue.
7. Contact & Support
One address handles everything — account access, a review you think went the wrong way, a safety concern, a payment question, or a bug. It is read by a person. If you are reporting something that happened in a room, telling us roughly when it happened helps us find it.
